Tuition rates are subject to change by the beginning of each academic year (September). All tuition costs and fees must be paid before a student can graduate.
Modular Tuition: Part-time, “per course” tuition is currently $150.00 per credit hour. Part-time study B.Th. students is defined as enrolling in fewer than 24 credit hours per academic year. Part-time study for B.D./M.Div. students is defined as enrolling in fewer than 34 credit hours per academic year during the first three modules (typically the first three years of full-time study).
Full-time B.Th. students enroll in 2 Core Courses per quarter. Tuition is $3,500.00 per module. Deferred, monthly payment arrangements are available by contacting the Principal of Andrewes Hall. This cost includes all symposia and colloquia that any particular course may require. Any additional Andrewes Hall courses in which the student may choose to enroll (e.g. language studies, Ministry Practicum, etc.) are available at the per course rate of $150 per credit.
Full-time B.D./M.Div. students enroll in 2 Core Courses per quarter (24 credit hours) plus an additional 3-4 credit hours per quarter (e.g. language studies, Ministry Practicum, Homiletics). Full-time is defined as no less than 33 credit hours per year during the first three years of study. Full-time tuition is $4,350.00 per module (i.e., Core courses, plus language, Ministry Practicum, etc.). Deferred, monthly payment arrangements are available by contacting the Principal of Andrewes Hall. This cost includes all symposia and colloquia that any particular course may require, and any additional Andrewes Hall elective courses in which the student may choose to enroll.
Fourth Module Tuition (B.D. & M.Div. candidates only): Tuition costs for the Fourth Module of the B.D./ M.Div. Program (typically the fourth year of study) is currently $4,350.00 for enrollment in 29 or more credit hours. Fourth Module students taking less than 29 credits will be charged “per-course” enrollment at $150.00 per credit hour. Tuition shall be adjusted pro rata for any transfer credits that may apply at $150.00 per credit. A $200.00 continuance fee will be assessed annually for every academic year thereafter until the program is completed, unless a “leave of absence” is approved by Andrewes Hall.
Homiletics and Ministry Practicum: Homiletics and Ministry Practicum are assessed together as a separate and additional cost, unless one is enrolled as a “full-time” B.D./M.Div. student (see Modular Tuition, above). “Per course” tuition is currently set at $150.00 per credit hour. Full-time B.D./M.Div. tuition includes both Homiletics and Ministry Practicum, as well as language study. Transfer credit for comparable course work and/or practical experience may apply. Students are strongly encouraged to fulfill all or part of their Homiletics, Ministry Practicum and Language requirements during the first three years of the overall program.
Language Study: A demonstrable proficiency in the Biblical languages (Greek, Hebrew) is required for B.D. and M.Div. candidates prior to their matriculation in the “Fourth Module.” Though not mandatory, language instruction is available through tutored colloquia at Andrewes Hall. The cost is currently assessed at $150.00 per credit hour, unless one is enrolled as a full-time B.D./M.Div. student. A student may enter language instruction at the level of proficiency with which he/she may be most comfortable (i.e., 1st quarter – Beginner, 2nd quarter – Intermediate, 3rd quarter – Advanced). Or a student may opt to acquire language proficiency by other means.
Sacred Theology Program (M.Th.): Non-graduates of Andrewes Hall or Cranmer Theological House pay $4,500.00 for the first year or “course year,” on a pre-arranged ten-month payment schedule. In the second year (i.e., “thesis year”), Sacred Theology students are assessed $200.00 upon the submission of a thesis proposal, and a continuance fee of $200.00 for each academic quarter thereafter until the completion of the program (i.e., $600 per academic year). Andrewes Hall or Cranmer House graduates pursuing the Thesis-Option pay an initial $600.00 submission fee directly to Andrewes Hall in their first year, and the $200.00 per quarter continuance fee after 18 months (and on each calendar year thereafter until the program is completed).
