Sacred Ministry Module (4th Year)
(B.D. & M.Div. only)

Matriculation into the fourth year of full-time studies at Andrewes Hall, normally leading to an advanced graduate degree in theology, assumes that the student has obtained a proficiency in both biblical languages (Greek and Hebrew) or one of the biblical languages and Latin, for which an additional 18 credit hours will be awarded on the student’s official transcript. Additionally, students may have already completed other requirements, e.g., Homiletics, Ministry Practicum, and Required Readings in Anglican Studies (see Note, below).

(1) LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY (Greek/Hebrew or Latin)
(2) DIRECTED AND/OR MENTORED STUDIES:
>APOLOGETICS
>CURE OF SOULS II
>MARRIAGE AND FAMILY
>3 EXEGETICAL PAPERS
(3) PRACTICA:
>HOMILETICS
>MINISTRY PRACTICUM
(4) OTHER:
>READING LIST IN ANGLICAN STUDIES

Sub-total 58 credit hours (4th module)

NOTE: B.D./M.Div. students are encouraged to pursue Homiletics, Ministry Practicum, and their language studies concurrently with the first three years (approximately 30 credit hours total). This will leave approximately 28 credit hours of required courses, mentored studies and internships for the fourth year. Full-time fourth module enrollment requires a minimum of 21 credit hours, allowing for an extended internship assignment, or if desired, multiple internship assignments and/or additional mentored studies or colloquia.

TOTAL 4 YEARS: 130 CREDIT HOURS
